 UKRAINE-NASTRAN WINTER SCHOOL

Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations

Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University

The Ukraine-NASTRAN Winter School “Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations” will be held at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University on 25–31 January 2027.

The School offers lecture courses on a range of methods and theories of nonlinear partial differential equations, covering integrable systems, continuation beyond wave breaking, elliptic and degenerate parabolic equations, fractional equations, stochastic fluid flows, and compensated compactness for conservation laws.

The School aims to provide young Ukrainian researchers with access to international-level training and networking opportunities and thus maintain a pipeline of talent during wartime and beyond, contributing to the eventual reconstruction of Ukraine’s scientific infrastructure.
